Study Medical Transcription – Who Says Earning Isn’t Easy?
It happened a few years ago when your teen first started hinting around about getting a drivers license. It is the beginning of a process leading to one of the biggest changes in your life, which is your teen obtaining a drivers license. First off the shock – am I really old enough to have a child who can legally drive a car already? Surely not, as it was only yesterday my child was born! Then the thoughts flood in: drivers ed, a driving school, driving lessons, a car, insurance, and many others.
Many people view studying as a chore or task, this is human nature. When you are tired, take a break. The brain can only assimilate so much at a time. It is always advisable to plan your breaks in the short and long term. Reward and motivate yourself for any successful milestone.
Negotiate with your teen consequences for not honoring curfews, using drugs or alcohol, running up high texting bills, skipping classes, or performing poorly in school. Make sure these consequences are clear whether it is taking away the Internet, cell phone, or car.
That’s all. The next day you proceed to verse 2, doing the same thing. And you continue until you get to the end of the New Testament. Then after the last verse of Revelation proceed to the Old Testament. Begin with Genesis. After you finish with the Old Testament you can go back to the New Testament. From time to time read your record of your Bible study. Sooner or later you will be given the full benefit of Bible study.
So how does it work? First, you need to specify your long-term goal. After writing down your long-term goal, you can start making your action plan. This contains your daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly (if applicable) irish essay help goals and the steps you will take to achieve them. The idea is to reach your ultimate goal by doing smaller and manageable steps as you go along. As the old saying goes, “How do you eat an elephant?” The answer is, “One bite at a time.” Your elephant is graduation, your short term goals are your bites.
Who do you want to read your writing? Who will be enthralled with your novel or helped by your how-to book or article? When you identify your ideal readers, you gain clarity. Choices about what to include and what style and words to use become easier.
Always have everything that you need close by. There is nothing more distracting to your study session that standing up and having to go grab a pen or a class of water. So before you sit down, make sure you have all of your notes, stationary, a bit of nourishment and of course text books!
Take about 10 minutes before your session and write some notes about what you want to write about. Write down a few things in case you blow through the first one before your time is up. Ask yourself what piece you’re writing. Are you writing a blog post? Or are you writing a chapter for your new book?
In this article, I continue with my idea of talking with people who have been very successful in their careers and finding out what study habit they thought was the biggest help in their student days. Here in Part 2, I speak with an older family friend (Robbie) who studied as a mature age student. What she first told me blew me away.
Now for the most important item in the distance learning setting; your computer. Just about any computer will work whether it be a laptop or PC. You will also need internet connectivity in order to participate in the online courses and discussion groups. You will also need an office suite that includes a word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation software. You can either pay for one such as Microsoft Office or download Open Office for free. You will also need a printer to print off assignments and proof read them before submitting them for grading.
Talk to your teen before the date and let them know you need to have some important information. Parents need to know where their child will be even though most teenagers have cell phones. Parents should be kept informed. Let them know when they should be home, but be reasonable. This is another reason to know what they have planned because you can know how long it should take. An example is if they are going to a movie that is playing at a certain time. If the movie starts at 8 p.m. it is not reasonable to expect them home at 9 p.m.
